Hi, I’m rachel Eapen.
Thanks for stopping by!
I am a fine art and conceptual photographer and artist based in Muscat, Oman, and a Foodelia Award Winner. I bring in a fresh perspective using photographic medium by using minimalistic compositions and conceptual approaches to create images that evoke emotion that makes the viewers see the world through a new lens. My style of photography is enhanced through a modern Chiaroscuro approach, still life, action, and portraits. I focus on using the power of light and shadow to infuse drama and storytelling.
I create emotive portraits that go beyond the surface, where vulnerability meets strength, and silence often speaks louder than words. I’m drawn to subtle, powerful moments: a fleeting glance, a quiet breath, an unspoken truth. I aim to tell stories that are deeply personal yet universally felt. My portraits are not just about how someone looks, but how they feel and how they wish to be seen.
I also specialize in food and product photography, helping restaurants, magazines, and brands connect with their audience through visually compelling imagery, perfect for menus, packaging, and campaigns.
If you're looking to turn a photography hobby into something more, I offer workshops and personalized 1:1 coaching sessions to help you grow your skills and develop your unique visual voice.
Please feel free to explore my portfolio, it’s a reflection of diverse moods, styles, and stories. If you have a project in mind, I’d love to hear from you.
My Approach
It all begins with an idea or a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story through your brands or food can make all the difference.
Dream it
Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are so many brands out there in the world but your vision is what’s going to separate from the rest.
Build it
Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is what is going to continue to evolve. Your goal should be to make it feel right. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
